Director of Physical Education & Sports
Dr. R. Suresh is a distinguished and result-oriented sports professional with over 12 years of experience in physical education, sports coaching, and academic administration. Holding a Ph.D. in Physical Education, he currently serves as the Director of Physical Education & Sports at MNR University, where he has been instrumental in developing modern sports infrastructure, implementing high-performance training programmes, and promoting excellence in university sports. He has successfully organized prestigious AIU South Zone and Inter Zone All India Inter-University Championships and has guided university teams to win numerous Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals at national-level competitions. A recipient of the Physical Educators Award – 2025 and multiple Best Teacher Awards, Dr. Suresh is also recognized for his international research contributions, publications, and a patented AI-based sports performance analysis innovation. Through his visionary leadership and commitment to student development, he continues to strengthen the University's sporting culture while fostering academic excellence, discipline, and holistic growth among students.
