Program Outcomes

By graduation, students will be able to:

  • Operate Ophthalmic Diagnostic Instruments- Use tools like tonometers and retinoscopes..
  • Support Low Vision and Rehabilitation Needs- Assist patients with long-term visual impairment.
  • Interpret Clinical Findings and Prepare Reports- Document observations with clinical accuracy.
  • Apply Ethical Practices in Eye Care- Maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality.
  • Educate Patients on Vision Health- Guide lifestyle and eye care practices.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply, candidates must:

  • Passed 10+2 with BiPC or MPC group from a recognised board/institute.
  • OR completed 10th + 2/3-year Diploma in relevant technology.
  • Admission based on merit or valid entrance test scores (state, national, or international)
  • Minimum age: 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year.
