- Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (academic stream), after a period of 10+2 years of study, with the following subjects: English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology).
- Candidates who have passed any qualifying examination other than intermediate examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, shall obtain an equivalency certificate from the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, to be eligible to apply. However the eligibility for the course will be verified by the University for Admissions.
- Candidates who have completed their vocational physiotherapy at the 10+2 level are also eligible for applying.
- A candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the degree course.

Yes, MNR University offers 50 crores worth of scholarships for meritorious students, provided on a first come first serve basis:
- 100% scholarship is available across all degree programs for the first 50 meritorious students.
- Up to 90% scholarship is available for other meritorious students.
The B.Tech. (Hons) programs are a four-year, eight-semester full-time program.

INR 50 Crore Merit Scholarships Initiative
The first 50 students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance in the entrance test and meet the eligibility criteria will be awarded a 100% scholarship, covering the tuition fees.
For other eligible students, merit-based scholarships of up to 90% on tuition fees are available, determined by entrance test scores.
