The M.Sc. (Medical) Physiology is a specialized program designed to provide students with a profound understanding of human physiology and its role in health and disease.
The program integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications, equipping students with the skills to analyze physiological processes and their clinical relevance. Through advanced studies in cellular, molecular, and systemic physiology, students learn how the body functions in both normal and pathological conditions, preparing them for careers in clinical research, healthcare, and education.
Upon completion, students will be able to:
01.
Understand Human Physiology
02.
Apply Physiology in Clinical Contexts
03.
Conduct Independent Research
04.
Integrate Physiology with Other Disciplines
05.
Communicate Effectively
The program mandates hands-on experience through:
01.
Engaging in experiments using instruments such as ECG, EEG, and blood pressure monitors, learning how to measure and analyze physiological data.
02.
Internships or attachments in hospitals or research labs to observe the clinical applications of physiological concepts in diagnostics and treatment.
03.
ndependent or group-based research projects in areas like cellular physiology, neurophysiology, or pathophysiology, with the opportunity to publish results.
04.
Interactive workshops focused on advanced technologies
