M.P.T. Program allows the learners to attain professional autonomy with self-regulating discipline, and form the base of professional practice by referral as well as first contact mode using evidence based practices.

The program’s curriculum imparts knowledge of research principles in order to validate techniques and technology in practice of physiotherapy, and inculcates appropriate professional relationships in multi-disciplinary set up, patient management and co-partnership basis. The program amalgamates hands-on experience with the concept of morals and ethics of the physiotherapy profession.

Upon completion, students will be able to:

01.

Develop comprehensive knowledge of identifying the biopsychosocial component of pain and dysfunction, develop clinical reasoning for it, and have detailed knowledge of musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.

02.

Demonstrate professional ethic towards client respect, dignity and confidential responsibility.

03.

Formulate hypothesis and make clinical decisions to assess and manage all musculoskeletal conditions.

04.

Perform disability evaluation of patients pertinent to musculoskeletal conditions and to be able to prescribe exercises based on dosimetry.

05.

Communicate with patient, caregiver and interdisciplinary relations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 01. Candidates who have passed BPT degree from Dr. NTRUHS, KNRUHS or BPT or B.Sc. (PT) degree from any other University in India or abroad recognized as equivalent by MNRU-SOPR.
  • 02. Candidates must have at least 55% of marks in aggregate.
  • 03. Candidates possessing the degree from universities other than MNRU-SOPR, Fasalwadi, Sangareddy, Telangana, must produce the equivalency certificate issued by his/her parent institution.
